Taylor Shellfish Farms is now in its sixth season at local Seattle area farmers markets. I'd like to let you know that we will be returning to the Mukilteo Farmers Market this year, which begins on Thursday, June 4th. We will be at two Seattle markets (University District and Ballard), along with Bellevue and Mukilteo. Taylor Shellfish grows and harvests our shellfish from waters that are certified clean, and no cooking is required. At Taylor Shellfish, we are committed to ensure that the waters of Puget Sound remain clean and clear. This means that we can guarantee the quality of our shellfish with confidence and pride.

I'm offering fresh farm raised oysters, Manila clams, and Mediterranean mussels. Periodically, I bring geoduck to the market! Geoduck, if you're not familiar with it, is the largest burrowing clam in the world! The geoduck I sell at the market average about two pounds each. Our oyster varieties include Kumamotos, Totten Inlet Virginicas, Totten Inlet pacific oysters, as well as the much loved local Olympia Oyster, the only native oyster found on the west coast. Mediterranean mussels are at their peak during the summer months, when they get so sweet and plump, they're almost bursting out of their shells! We also sell pre-shucked oysters for pan frying or oyster stew, as well as shucking knives.
