DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Taylor Shellfish Farms Map

From the Taylor Shellfish Farms headquarters in Shelton: Proceed north on Highway 101 approximately 60 miles to Quilcene. In Quilcene just past the high school, fork right onto the Center Rd. Proceed approximately 0.5 miles to E. Quilcene Road. Turn right and follow the directions below "Proceeding on East Quilcene Road."

Note: The travel time from the processing plant to the hatchery is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

From Seattle: Take the Bainbridge Island ferry. Once off the ferry proceed north on Highway 305 to Highway 3. Turn right and proceed north on Highway 3 to the Hood Canal Bridge. Go left on Highway 104 across the Hood Canal Bridge and proceed approximately 12 miles to the Center Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp go right proceeding towards Quilcene. Just as you are coming into Quilcene, turn left on East Quilcene Road. Follow the directions below "Proceeding on East Quilcene Road."

Note: The travel time once off the ferry to the hatchery is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes.

From Edmonds: Take the Kingston ferry. Once off the ferry continue on Highway 104 following signs for the Hood Canal Bridge. Cross the Hood Canal Bridge and proceed approximately 12 miles to the Center Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp go right proceeding towards Quilcene. Just as you are coming into Quilcene, turn left on East Quilcene Road. Follow the directions below "Proceeding on East Quilcene Road."

Proceeding on E. Quilcene Road: Go 1.8 miles to Lindsay Hill Road on your left (Quilcene Bay is on your right through the trees). Go left up Lindsay Hill Road, 1.2 miles to Broadspit Road on your left. The Broadspit Road sign is actually on the right side of Lindsay Hill Road, but turn left onto Broad Spit Rd. Go 0.8 miles "down" Broadspit Road. The road forks at the bottom of the hill. Stay left to the hatchery, which are the gray metal buildings and greenhouses you can see ahead.
