Taylor Shellfish Participates in Mapping Conference

On Monday, July 10th, Nyle Taylor and Erin Ewald of Taylor Shellfish presented at the annual ESRI User Conference in San Diego. ESRI is a software company that specializes GIS which is a geographic information system designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present spatial or geographic data. This system allows Taylor to map out farms with GPS, input operational farm data, as well as regulatory and environmental compliance tasks. ESRI staff were very impressed with the variety of ways we were implementing their software and invited us to present in front of 16,000 people. It was a lot of work, but we are very pleased with the results!
