Candi May: Restaurant Sales Coordinator

Candi May has worked for Taylor Shellfish for a total of seventeen years. In her time with the company, she has briefly worked in the packing room, shucked specialty oysters, assisted with wholesale, worked with Bill Whitbeck at farmers markets and most recently has worked as the Restaurant Sales Coordinator. Candi is in charge of taking orders from our direct to restaurant customers in the Seattle area, ensuring the orders get filled and handling the accounting for these customers. “She is always one of the first people here and she is very passionate about her restaurants,” said Wes Taylor. One thing that makes Candi good at her job is that she is a “people person”. She loves the people that she gets to work around and the relationships she has built with her customers. This “people person” personality is also infectious in the workplace. “She always sees the good in situations,” said Claire LeVeque, who works with Candi. Joel Wood added, “Candi’s attitude is always positive and happy. She is always smiling, joking and ready to give someone a compliment to help them get through their day.”
In her free time, Candi enjoys hanging out with her dog, taking long walks and beachcombing. Thanks for the always positive attitude Candi! Keep on smiling!
